Celebrating excellence in the spa industry, the 2nd annual World Spa Awards took place at Forte Village Resort in Sardinia, Italy recently.

Kaya Spa at Tribe Hotel in Nairobi was named Kenya’s Best Hotel Spa 2016, beating fellow nominees Angsana Spa at Sankara Nairobi, Devarana Spa at DusitD2 Nairobi, and Kempinski The Spa at Villa Rosa Kempinski.

Stephan Meves, General Manager at Tribe Hotel highlighted that though Kenya is not known widely for spa travel, winning the award means a lot for the whole industry.
