Home to the slogan “Eat Like You Mean It” and known for it’s raunchy advertisements, the first Hardee’s restaurant opened in Nairobi, Kenya, on Wednesday.

The global burger chain chose Terminal 1A at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi as their flagship location in Kenya and will be operating 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Founded in North Carolina in 1960 by Wilber Hardee, the American-based fast-restaurant chain has been experiencing tremendous growth and just entered new markets such as Japan and Australia earlier this year.

The chain plans to open another 10 restaurants in Kenya over the next seven years in hopes of winning Kenyans over with Hardee’s signature charbroiled, big and juicy burgers.

Aside from complimentary Wi-Fi, partial table service, free refills at the beverage bar and Draft beer; the restaurant will offer innovative menu items including the brand’s signature Mushroom N Swiss, Famous Star and Super Star burgers, along with other fan favorites like the Jalapeno burger, Cordon Bleu Chicken Sandwich, Hand-Breaded Chicken Tenders™ and Hand-Scooped Ice Cream Shakes™.
