#Travel: 8 Steps to getting your South Africa travel Visa

Joining the Capital Lifestyle team in South Africa for the Joy of Jazz Festival from September 15 to 18, 2016?

If you require a South Africa travel Visa, here are 8 easy steps that you should follow:

 

Step 1 : Applicants are required to submit their applications personally at the VFS South Africa Visa Application center in Nairobi
Step 2 : Make 1 clear photocopy of the biodata page of the passport.
Step 3 : Complete the visa application form. You can download the application form from our website.
Step 4 : If you are in employment, please ensure that you submit a letter from your employer in Kenya stating that you are their employee. In a case whereby you are self employed, please ensure you draft a letter and attach documents of ownership. If retired, please submit a written statement to that effect. If you are a student, please ensure that you attach a document from the Institution as well. The above are to be submitted in support of your application alongside all other documents and depending on your visa category.
Step 5 : Please ensure that you submit MOST CURRENT THREE MONTH PAYSLIP/ ORIGINAL BANK STATEMENTS, DULY STAMPED AND CERTIFIED BY YOUR BANK. The South Africa High Commission does not allow Online Bank Statements in support of your applications.
Step 6 : Pay your VFS service fee at the bank teller counter at the Visa Application Centers.
Step 7 : Along with your application form and documents mentioned on this site you can come to our application centre between 08:00 to 15:00 (Monday – Friday, except the holidays observed by The High Commission of South Africa in Nairobi and Government of Republic of Kenya)
Step 8 : Do ensure that you log onto the visa category you wish to apply for and download the Application Form and Checklist(Supporting Documents Guideline) to fully prepare yourself for the visa application process.
