You may recognise her as the feisty, larger-than-life, boss-lady named Cookie from the American drama series, Empire, but Taraji P. Henson is now making major moves in the beauty world too.

The award winning actress just announced that she’s collaborating with M.A.C Cosmetics to launch a beauty collection on September 6th!

The #MACTaraji collection will feature six pieces including black eyeliner ($21), a matte lipstick ($17), a reddish brown mineralize skin finished powder ($33), and soft bronze with golden shimmer mineralize skin finish ($33). As part of her collection, they will also release a Haut & Nauty black lash mascara and a duo fibre face brush brush.

As M.A.C shared, her “fearless performances, powerhouse confidence, and charismatic spark” have been a huge driving force in her career and you as you can probably imagine, this collection too. I mean, I wouldn’t mind some charismatic spark in my beauty regimen!

Previous M.A.C collaborations include Rihanna, Arianna Grande and Miley Cyrus for the Viva Glam collections.

Speaking previously about her beauty hacks, Taraji said: “I wash my face in the morning and at night. I drink a lot of water. You have to stay hydrated. As far as my hair … I wrap my hair at night because that’s less heat on it every day. I’m a health w***e, for lack of a better word. I love healthy hair. I love healthy skin. I love skin that glows. That’s why I love shea butter, because I put it on and I feel like, when I go home and I go to bed I take my clothes off, I feel like I’ve just put lotion on. And I only put it on once a day. I use the cream for my feet and I put socks on at night.”
