The African continent awaits one of the biggest collaborations this year as two of Africa’s fastest rising music stars get paired on the new season of Coke Studio Africa!

Get ready to discover fresh sounds from Bongo’s Pop Princess Vanessa Mdee and Nigeria’s reggae/dancehall artiste Patoranking. As if that doesn’t promise to be a killer collaboration already, the duo will be produced by South African house music producer DJ Maphorisa of the “Soweto Baby” hit fame.

Vanessa Mdee is East Africa’s most stylish trendsetter. She is credited for releasing a string of successful singles including ‘Nobody But Me’ featuring South African rapper K.O, ‘Never Ever’ and ‘Niroge.’ In a breakout streak, Patoranking has enjoyed a string of successful singles including ‘My Woman,’ ‘My Everything’ featuring Wande Coal, ‘Daniella Whine’ and ‘Girlie O Remix’ featuring Tiwa Savage.

On the last season of Coke Studio Africa, VeeMoney was paired with Nigerian singer 2Baba. After their song ‘All I Need to Know’ surpassed a million views on YouTube, it went on to top music charts allover Africa. 2Baba would later add her as one of the main performers on his new Disruption Africa Tour – 2016 edition.
