There’s so many ways to describe British, Eastern Londoner, Neo Jessica Joshua (NAO).
With her Nostalgic fusion of Neo-soul, electronic and alternative R&B, NAO confidently fits in the pack of artists who are not afraid to express themselves not only musically but also understands the power of expressing themselves through their visuals.
With the single being released earlier this year in February, the ‘Fool to Love’ visual focuses on a persona that seems to be haunted and having violent altercations with its own decisions, which is represented by a ghostly character who we can’t see.
In a statement on her Youtube channel NAO states, “I wrote to myself and my self-doubt, not to a lover.I was a fool to listen to that voice in my head that held me back. I’m my own worst enemy sometimes.”
Directed by Ollie Wolfe, starring Ashley Walter from the British crime drama “Top Boy”, this visual clearly gives a picture of what to expect from NAO as she’s expands the dates to her upcoming tour and completes her Untitled album that’s due to be released later this year.
