Superstar Koffi Olomide will perform at the 11th edition of Koroga Festival at Nairobi’s Arboretum Gardens on Sunday, March 13th, 2016; dismissing earlier rumours on social media that the show would be postponed.

“I am so excited to be back in Kenya, a country that has always appreciated my music,” Koffi shared during Saturday’s press interviews, ahead of his highly-anticipated performance, ten years after his last show in the country.

Rehearsals and set-up went into high-gear on Saturday as organizers, Capital FM, readied to put on another successful edition of Koroga Festival – a bi-monthly event that showcases leading artists from all over Africa through music, fashion, food and arts.

Previous editions have seen musicians like Papa Wemba, Oliver Mtukudzi, Ali Kiba, Chameleone, Mi Casa, Yvonne Chaka Chaka, Sauti Sol, Just A Band, Nameless, Mayonde, Freshlyground, and Simphiwe Dana, just to name a few, light-up  Nairobi’s live music scene.

Festivalgoers of the sold-out Koroga Festival on Sunday, March 13th, 2016 at Nairobi’s Arboretum Gardens will definitely be treated to a memorable show with Koffi being accompanied by a 16-person band and dance troupe.
