Beyonce Knowles stole the show during her Super Bowl 50 halftime performance with Coldplay and Bruno Mars.
The 34-year-old singer joined headliners Coldplay and fellow performer Bruno at Levi Stadium in Santa Clara, California on Sunday (07.02.16), where she gave a triumphant performance of her new song ‘Formation’.
She and her dancers, clad in black leather bodysuits, also enjoyed a dance off with Bruno, 30, as they sang his hit ‘Uptown Funk’.
And Beyonce ensured it was her night by announcing during the telecast that her ‘Formation’ world tour will launch on April 27th.
While Coldplay were the headliners, opening with ‘Yellow’, followed by ‘Viva La Vida’, ‘Paradise’ and ‘Adventures of a Lifetime’, they were upstaged by the arrival of Mark Ronson and Bruno, followed by Beyonce.
Coldplay gave a nod to deceased stars including Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston and Clarence Clemons during ‘Fix You’, before being backed by Beyonce and Bruno to finish with ‘Up & Up’, from their new album.
