Barbie finally has a brand new body and will be coming to a toy collection near you!

Over the years, Barbie has been adopting different features including style, ethnicity and careers to inject some diversity to their popular range of dolls and can add body type to the list.

“Barbie has always given girls choices – from her 180 careers, to inspirational roles, to her countless fashions and accessories,” said Evelyn Mazzocco, senior vice president and global general manager of Barbie, in a statement. “We are excited to literally be changing the face of the brand. These new dolls represent a line that is more reflective of the world girls see around them – the variety in body type, skin tones and style allows girls to find a doll that speaks to them.”

To celebrate this new body, Barbie even landed a TIME Magazine cover.

This coveted doll now comes in four body types (curvy, petite, tall and its original wasp-waisted shape), seven skin tones, 22 eye colours and 24 hairstyles including afros and a sapphire blue style.
