The Famous Grouse Whisky Unveils New Premium Pack

FAMOUS-GROUSE

Blended Scotch Whiskey brand The Famous Grouse distributed by Wow beverages recently unveiled a new look premium pack that identifies with the aspirations of the Kenyan whiskey lovers as it seeks to blend its foundation, fusion, fine flavor elements with the growing appeal for superior taste among unwinding Kenyans.

The new Famous Grouse premium pack features a new label design with a contemporary twist. The pack has a more premium closure and metallised paper combined with a new look bottle that comes with a high punt to facilitate easy, drip free pouring, a stepped heel and tall neck above very angular shoulders that will standout for the brand.

The new packaging is part of an ambitious redevelopment plan that echoes the brand’s roots but with a more contemporary twist that easily identifies with the trendy whiskey lovers. The new packaging has been developed in response to consumer demand for higher quality packaging thereby enabling us to set a new benchmark. This design is a modern expression of our key assets: the grouse and our ‘famous’ name that will help us to deliver our ambitious aspirations for the Kenyan whisky lovers over the next couple years.

FAMOUS-GROUSE-1

Created in 1897 by Matthew Gloag whose signature is still printed on every bottle of The Famous Grouse sold today, the drink matures for a minimum of three years in oak casks in Scotland. The distinctions of the flavor come largely from the hand-crafted Spanish and American Oak casks in which the liquid rests and matures thereby contributing to the flavor of The Famous Grouse whiskey.

The Famous Grouse is manufactured by UK based Edrington producing over 39 million bottles of The Famous Grouse every year. Its premium quality remains the same delivering 40% Alcohol Volume for both 750ml and 1 Litre packs.

The brand is exported in over 100 countries worldwide and is rated as the number 4 standard blended whiskey worldwide according to the 2014 IWSR data.

The most striking feature that customers will notice is the Grouse bird now below The Famous Grouse name unlike the previous pack where the Grouse bird was above The Famous Grouse brand name.
