David Bowie, the “Space Oddity” star has passed on at age 69. He lost the battle to cancer  after a secret and courageous 18 month battle with the terminal illness.

He was known as the creator of Glam Rock and was one of the most successful artists of the 70s.

Bowie’s untimely death comes a week after the release of  his new album “Blackstar” which was released on his birthday on the 8th of January 2016. “He died peacefully surrounded by family” reported his Spokesman.

The legend is survived by two children Alexandria and Duncan Jones and wife of 24 years Iman Mohamed.
