His latest album, Non–Fiction was released in January 2015. The album got to the number five spot on the US Billboard Top 200, making NE-YO the second male R&B artist to have six consecutive top 10 albums.

NE-YO has also garnered several global accolades and is hailed as an incredible songwriter, delivering worldwide hits including Rihanna’s Unfaithful and Beyonce’s Irreplaceable. Aside from NE-YO’s big debut on African TV thanks to Coke Studio Africa, he has also joined the popular American television series, Empire, this year as a music writer and actor.

On Coke Studio Africa, NE-YO’s character as a passionate music man is easily noticeable as he spends endless hours rehearsing and recording with the African stars. NE-YO’s appearance flaunts the show’s pursuit in uniting the best of African and international talent and music on one platform.
