Aquamarine fashion adds a refreshing burst of colour to spring 2015.

What’s the deal with aquamarine

A soft and pretty hybrid of cool mint and icy blue, aquamarine is one of the must-have hues of the year. This gorgeous hue has been featured on several runways including Monique Lhuillier and Badgley Mischka.  It looks great on those with cool or neutral undertones but brighter variants work well on warmer skin tones.

Colours with which to wear it

It pairs well with brighter tones such as reds, yellows, vibrant green and cobalt as well as softer shades such as white, tan and all pastel colours. It also lends itself perfectly to prints (especially florals and polka dots) and looks amazing when combined with textures, including embossing and shimmer.
