Congolese musician Tresor signs exclusive pan-African deal with Sony

TRESOR (French for “treasure” and pronounced “Trezor”), proudly African and originally from Goma, DRC, is a singer-songwriter and producer who has just signed to International Recording Label Sony Music Entertainment Africa under exclusive license from Vth Season Audio.

His first language is Music but he is also fluent in English, French and Swahili. Since his arrival to South Africa 7 years ago, TRESOR has been compiling songs for his debut album set for release in Spring 2015.

His first offering, “Mount Everest,” features AKA. The single, a fresh combination of urban, alternative music peppered with African influences, was released earlier this year. Listen out for the Freddy Verano remix coming later this month!

As part of his major label debut, TRESOR is releasing his new single, “Never Let Me Go,” this week. The single was co-written and co-produced by Matthew Field from Beatenberg.
