- Cleanse twice a day, but don’t over-cleanse. If your skin feels tight after washing, your cleanser is disrupting the pH of your skin and it’s likely to be worsening your situation.
- Every skin benefits from acids, and oily skin even more so. Incorporate an AHA toner. You simply take a pre-soaked pad, swipe it over your skin and toss it in the bin when you’re done.
- Whatever you do, don’t skip moisturiser. Whether you opt for a hydrating gel or a light lotion with the added benefit of some spot-busting salicylic acid, oily skins desperately need moisture too.
