The Kilimanjaro Music Awards or Kili Awards, held annually in Tanzania, seek to recognize musicians who are making waves in the industry.

This year, three Kenyan acts have received nods for the Best East African Song category: Sauti Sol’s “Sura Yako” , Jaguar’s “Kioo,” and Victoria Kimani for her songs “Prokoto” and “Show.”

Jose Chameleone has also been nominated in the same category for “Wale Wale.”
