TripAdvisor, the world’s largest travel site, announced the winners of its Travelers’ Choice™ awards for Islands earlier this year, with Mauritius emerging as the top honouree from Africa.
From more than 100 islands all over the world, Mauritius emerged as the 8th best island. With its enchanting beaches, the tiny island 2,000 kilometres off the southeast coast of the African continent seems like an obvious choice.
