Legendary nightclub Florida opened its doors in 1979 in the heart of Nairobi, quickly establishing itself as an icon and defining the landscape of Kenya’s entertainment industry. After almost 35 years of operation, Florida closed it’s doors to the public last year, providing the Florida Group management team with an opportunity to go back to the drawing board and recreate the magic that was part and parcel of iconic Florida brand through the 80’s and 90’s.

Nairobi’s nightlife will take on a whole new dimension when Florida Nightclub reopens its doors to the public Saturday 31st of January, 2015 on Banda Street, just a stone’s throw from its former location.

EXCLUSIVE SNEAK PEEK

Florida’s new interior boasts a reimagined Art Deco theme and luxurious fittings, which compliment a top of the range sound system and a Madrix lighting system. The dancefloor alone features over 10,000 Led lights for Nairobi’s glitterati to dance the night away and the immersive art deco interior extends to unrivaled table service and an exclusive VVIP lounge.

Opening night will feature internationally renowned DJ Marcus Coppini. Hailing from Brazil, Coppini is known for his soulful, house and tech beats; and will bring a much needed breath of fresh air to the Nairobi nightclub scene this weekend.
