Remember First Lady Michelle Obama’s #BringBackOurGirls hashtag campaign and the “awareness” she was spreading about Boko Haram, the Nigerian terrorist group?

Comedian Jon Stewart’s “The Daily Show” pointed out last Thursday how the West united over France’s Charlie Hebdo attacks, but ignored much deadlier slaughters in Nigeria that took place on the same day by Boko Haram.

“Sometimes it seems like Africa is the Vegas of Islamist terror,” Daily Show correspondent Trevor Noah said. “What happens in Africa stays in Africa.”
