A student spent £20,000 on covering her car in crystals.

Daria Radionova, a Russian student living in London, South East England, personalised her £25,000 Mercedes CLS 350 by having it encrusted with one million Swarovski crystals.

She then marked the completion of the project by parking outside of posh shop Harrods for the world to see.

According to the Daily Mirror newspaper, she said: “I wanted to have something unique and do something special.

“The people who did it came over from Russia and worked for 12 hours a day for two months on the car.

“I am really happy with it and I am looking forward to driving it around.”
