Once again, Kenya Worldwide Fashion Week will be holding their annual event highlighting designers from Nigeria, South Africa, India and, of course, Kenya.

The red carpet event, featuring 10 designers, is scheduled to run on August 30 at The Tribe Hotel leading to an after party. Both local and international designers will have the opportunity for the general public to view their pieces in an exhibition which will be held the following day at The Village Market.

Designers to showcase their designs will include John Kaveke, Mandira Bedi, Joan Ibuzo, Deepak Perwani, Wanyoike Lewis, Sougat Paul, Paledi Segapo, Madafu Moxie, Spero Villioti and Margaux Marionette.

With the event falling in the second half of the year and within weeks of some of the international fashion weeks, we look forward to seeing which designer will wow the audience with the most original, haute couture pieces.
