It may have been released in 2013 but the Kenyan Short Film Deceit is still getting some international airtime.

Out of the 67 Short Films to be aired at the Durban International Film Festival, Deceit is the only Kenyan film that made the cut. The ten day festival held from the 10 – 17 July will allow film enthusiasts to delve into the world of film focusing mostly on South African and some international works.

Directed and co-written by Mark Wambui, Deceit, was nominated in 2013 at the prestigious Africa Movies Viewers Choice Awards.

The 35th edition of Durban International Film Festival will be screening the selected films at 9 different and interesting locations around the seaside city in South Africa.

If you won’t be able to catch the thrilling drama in Durban on the 24th, don’t be too sad. You can still watch it below.
