Nairobi Half Life wins at the African Film Development Awards 2014



The 2012 Kenyan drama film directed by David Tosh Gitonga, Nairobi Half Life, recently was honoured as the Best African Film at the African Film Development Awards 2014 in Tanzania.

The film, which was selected as the Kenyan entry for the Best Foreign Language Oscar at the 85th Academy Awards, also won the director David Tosh Gitonga the Future of African Cinema Award at the latest edition of African Film Development Awards.

The African Film Development Awards aims to recognize excellent individuals and organizations that have distinguished themselves in their contribution to the growth and development of African Cinema cultures.
