The Koroga Festival: Freshlyground is coming to Nairobi!

The Koroga Festival, a bi-monthly music and arts festival, is set to captivate festival goers on Sunday, April 13th 2014.

Aptly named after the Swahili word meaning “mix,” The Koroga Festival is a great reflection of Kenya’s brilliant and diverse local talent, whilst also attracting leading artists from all over the world through music, fashion, food and arts.

With an all-star line-up of musicians including Kenya’s Neema and Dela, festival goers will also be treated to a much anticipated performance by popular Afro-fusion band Freshlyground, who has recently released their fifth studio album Take Me To The Dance.

Backed by Capital FM Mix Masters DJ Joe Mfalme, DJ Andre and DJ Adrian; the serene and lush Aboretum Gardens will be the perfect backdrop for the bush-themed Koroga Festival – set to be a lovely and relaxing Sunday for friends and families.

Between the diverse food vendors, music and arts, festival goers will probably be challenged to work out how to divide their time on Sunday.

“We [Capital FM] aim to bring people together through fashion, food, art and music,” Somoina Kimojino, Programs Director of Capital FM shared. “Bottom line, we just want to have a good time and celebrate diversity!”

Tickets are KSh 1,500 and can be purchased at Ticket SASA, Capital FM offices or at the gate.
