It looks like North Korean male university students will soon all have the same haircut as their leader Kim Jong-un.

The look is known as the “Chinese smuggler,” a former Pyongyang resident told Korea Times. The new state-sanctioned guideline, introduced two weeks ago entails that all male university undergraduates will need to wear their hair in this specific style: shaved sides, undercut and a bowl top with its bangs swept back, dropping evenly to both sides of the head – known as the “Dear Leader Kim Jong-un.”

A source told Korea Times that not everyone is happy about this new fashion guideline, “Our leader’s haircut is very particular, if you will. It doesn’t always go with everyone since everyone has different face and head shapes.”
