The wearable technology trend is hitting a new high with connected sex toy company OhMiBod announcing at the 2014 International CES show in Las Vegas on Monday that their panties could be controlled by a partner.

The blueMotion massager (USD $129) aims to give women pleasure with the help of its accompanying iOS or Android app – basically the remote is your phone. The massager can be controlled for solo play or by another user nearby, within Bluetooth connectivity distance.

Spending too much time being connected on your smartphone and not with your partner?  Who said technology could drive couples apart?  With blueMotion, technology will likely bring couples even closer together than before.

According to Mashable, the blueMotion massager has a Bluetooth chip inside it, which slides into the front of the blue panty. The motor reacts to the remote app controls and takes advantage of built-in smartphone features, including accelerometer, touch screen and volume controls. The app has to be within Bluetooth range for it to sync with the panties in real time.

With the ability to record ambient sound for up to 60 seconds, blueMotion also allows users to record songs or say phrases such as “I love you” – or anything you please – to create a unique vibrating pattern.

In the future, users can even look forward to using the blueMotion with significant physical distance in between – perfect for long distance relationships.
