Nairobi Restaurant Week is just around the corner – and despite the name, it’s actually a little more than a week, from January 30th to February 6th, a full 8 days to dine at 50 different restaurants.
Each year, Restaurant Weeks all over the world attract experienced foodies and allow the less experienced to dine at some of the best restaurants with special menus for a fraction of the usual cost. 2014 will see Kenya’s burgeoning restaurant scene play host to the first ever Nairobi Restaurant Week in the nation’s capital. As Kenya continues to celebrate her Golden Jubilee, it is befitting that Nairobi Restaurant Week has teamed-up with chefs from fifty of the finest restaurants in Nairobi to create fifty one-of-a-kind menus.
Participating restaurants will offer menus for Ksh 1,250 or Ksh 1,750, including all taxes, respectively. The Nairobi Restaurant Week menus are one-of-a-kind celebratory and are limited to the first 250 patrons at each restaurant. Once they’re gone you’ll have to wait 12 months for NRW2015 – so plan ahead, and make reservations.
