The OutKast rapper, Andre 3000, is expected to make his return to music with a new solo album in 2014.
Appearing on “RapFix Live,” friend and colleague Cee Lo Green revealed that Andre 3000 was suffering from severe stage fright.
“He just said he had a severe case of stage fright and just kind of been away from the game and didn’t know if he could truly live up…”
If anyone would know, Cee Lo would be the one. The pair, Cee Lo and Andre, grew-up as childhood pals since third grade and became stars in the Atlanta-based hip-hop collective, the Dungeon Family.
“He just said he was bothered by this bar that had been set and maybe he wants to do something different, and he’ll always be his worse competition, his worse critic and maybe he don’t want to live up to what people think he should do,” Cee Lo shared.
