(BY NJAMIO) This is a rather laid back look for me but I liked the silhouette the midi skirt and peplum top gave me so I went with it. I wore this outfit to an African wedding because I wanted a reserved look.

Peplums are great for the plus size frame because they tend to cover flaws especially if you’re feeling bloated that day.

They definitely add curves to the body, especially if you have a tomboyish frame. They can be paired with anything from skirts to tights to shorts…you name it.

The monochrome peplum here is paired with a black midi skirt and for a pop of color I went for the purple heels and gold accessories.

When working with black and white as your foundation, feel free go crazy with the rest of your pairings… Play with colors! Remember black and white go with pretty much anything. You may add a pop of color with your shoes or accessories and that will make you stand out from the rest.
