Supermodel hopeful? ANTM Africa scouts in Kenya

Supermodel hopefuls, ANTM Africa is finally home! Could it be you?

Fans of America’s Next Top Model (ANTM),  you will be glad to know that for the first time ever there will be the first historic season of Africa’s Next Top Model dubbed ANTM Africa that will be filmed in Cape Town and hosted by supermodel Oluchi.

Africa’s Next Top Model will conduct a continent wide search to find 12 top contenders who will compete for the coveted modeling contract and have the dream of a lifetime come true.

Aspiring models that want to get a chance to travel to Cape Town, South Africa and “Live the Beautiful Life” must attend one of the scouting auditions taking place in the selected locations. Supermodel, Oluchi Orlandi will be present at all the scouting auditions to personally select the 12 lucky girls who will travel to South Africa for the filming of Africa’s Next Top Model.

The reality show will follow the supermodel hopefuls from all over the Continent as they strive to prove they have what it takes to make it in the cutthroat world of modeling.

The contestants will be evaluated on a regular basis by an elite panel of judges lead by Oluchi. These judges will be experts from the industry and will narrow down the competition week-to-week until two finalists go head-to-head. In the end, one lucky winner will be chosen…the winner who will become the first ever Africa’s Next Top Model!

Anyone from any country on the African continent can audition.

Oluchi Orlandi (nee Onweagba) was born in Lagos Nigeria. She won the continent wide “Face of Africa” competition at age 17 before moving to New York to work with Elite Models.  Oluchi has gone on to international fame gracing the covers of Elle magazine, i-D, Pop and Italian Vogue as well as being a Victoria’s Secret Angel. She is currently signed with DNA modeling agency and has worked with the industry’s best photographers (Steven Klein, Nick Knight, Patrick Demarchelier) as well as walked the runways of fashion’s top designers (Chanel, Giorgio Armani, Christian Dior).

Having garnered such success in the modeling industry with countless ad campaigns and magazine editorials, Oluchi is a shining inspiration to supermodel hopefuls from the Continent as they compete to be Africa’s next top model!
