I well written article, which can only be put togerther by an experienced sports’ journalist, but I disagree with the ascertion that Pep might end his spell this season. Pep is a winner in his heart of hearts and knows that players these days are indisciplined-so why risk another club? He built this team himself and has an extraordinary chemistry with the players. He wouldn’t dare sell out on them because He is the only reason about 50% of them still playing for Barca. Man City came with their money but they stood put and now he leaves? We understand he is an independent man with ambition but we also know he is affectionate and rationally considerate. He will only leave when his players stop following instructions. Above all, Rosell is a businessman deep inside his bones; he will wave any personel feelings aside just to achieve a profit (and success) from the cheapest means possible. would you bet on that?

Another idiotic post by Pedro Pinto… Xavi will never be close to Messi or any of the world’s greatest players. Until the arrival of Guardiola to the team, he was hardly mentioned compared to his more illustrious and better team mates .. Messi, Eto, Ronaldinho, Deco… all of this hype has come as a result to play down the importance of Messi to Barcelona’s success. If anything the closest player to Messi is his teammate Iniesta, not Xavi

Growth Hormones much? more like steroids…. disgrace of a footballer cant even be compared to the greatest of all time.. what has he done for Argentina? let him go to a 2nd string team in a 2nd string league and see if he can take that team to a championship.

I still think messi should play in another league like the EPL to prove his worth. Many players would be deadly playing in the barca team. he also hasnt done much for his country argentina.

it’s not a one man show, it’s about collectivity argentina squad is shit now, they have no midfielder, no defender, and they certaintly have no hunger to win, no desire to win, but individually messi will always be messi when he play for argentina he passes the ball more than the midfielder, and no way you guys should compare messi to any other player at the moment don’t hate on him

It’s too bad the Ballon d’Or is about who is the fan favorite rather than being about who is the best player that season. Cristiano had more goals than Messi last season, and has more goals in less appearances this season. Messi is clearly a great player, but Ronaldo is better than he is. That’s how good CR7 is!

what you’re talking about? they both scored 53 goals but, messi had 25 th assists wich is more than what xavi and iniesta had combine, and it takes christiano ronaldo 3 years to have 25 assists ok, messi is marvellous and he has a better chance to win the award again this year.

I don’t know if there’s any point in trying to convince people like this. If you think Ronaldo is better than Messi, you just haven’t been paying attention.

Whenever foreigners come into Africa with corporations, smiling, but with conniving intentions, they corrupt leadership, exploit and deplete our resources without a trace of benefit to us as Kenyans. We become poorer and stretch our necks begging from the same countries we freely give resources. We never learn to change behavior. These foreign countries enrich from our resource-endownment. Then, we accept status of poor nation, third class people to make you feel inferior. What percentage are these corporations taking out of Kenya and Africa as a whole?
