Nakumatt has launched a new kind of bar that does not subscribe to the so called ‘Mututho Law’.
In tandem with Revlon, Nakumatt Holdings opened the counter to its first cosmetic bar at Westgate last week, boasting the first entire range of Revlon products in a supermarket.
The bars are intended to provide as many cosmetic needs as possible, under one roof.
“…our Cosmetic Bars starting with Revlon, will provide the ultimate sensorial and pampering experience as a one-stop-shop for all your cosmetics requirements,” explained the Nakumatt Holdings Group Lifestyle Category Manager Sonali Shah.
“Our discerning shoppers will enjoy a variety of brands and services ranging from foundation matching to their skin colour, education on make-up application techniques, skincare, nail treatments, fragrance among others. This total experience will be the first of its kind in Kenya!”
The non-alcoholic bars also offer an on sale consumer education platform to help shoppers understand how to look the best they can – cosmetics wise of course.
The bars are a step up from the existing franchises, which usually combine popular products from various leading brands and rarely an entire range.
The new division at Nakumatt will be an exclusive deal, and more bars will be opened in the store’s many branches as 2013 unfolds.
