‘Tis the season to be jolly – and breakups – fa la la la la…” Sad but true.  Did you know splits are common during the holiday season?  Family obligations, shopping frenzies and feeling the time-crunch on another year wrapping up; if the relationship isn’t strong, you might just hear of some of your pals cutting their losses before Christmas, New Year’s and just around the corner – Valentine’s Day.

If you’ve received a lot of gifts as a couple or have booked a holiday, make sure you return the gifts and cancel your reservations ASAP.

Heading to the annual family shindig? Be prepared for probing questions.  Don’t be caught off-guard and sulking in awkward moments.  Prepare some witty answers like “She just didn’t measure up Mom.”
