As stated by an expert in the field, basic Kenyan foods such as Ugali, Sukuma Wiki (kale) and some nyama (meat) on the side can be easily enjoyed with a mix of Cabernet Sauvignon/Merlot wine.
Mary Musembi, wine taster and trainer at Wines of the World Kenya, says that for most local food, a blend of Cabarnet Sauvignon/Merlot is the perfect match.
“Whether with a steak, githeri, or even a rice curry, that blend goes very well,” she promised Capital Lifestyle.
