It is about the only DIY trend that I know you can pull off in a matter of minutes…but that is of course if you are handy with a needle and thread else, there’s always a tailor nearby.

This is how you can DIY with the PAPER BAG  waist trend

So do you have that oversize skirt, pair of pants or shorts that you haven’t looked at in forever? You can work with that to create your paper bag waist outfit. It is easy peasy!

All you will need to do is neaten the waist line of the garment to make it look like it has a bit of gathering detail vibe going on. Throw on a cute belt and voilà, you  have your paper bag waisted skirt, shorts or trousers!

PS: Make sure your gathers don’t look ridiculously big by letting them be just the right size. You don’t want to walk around looking like you’ve been swallowed by a full blossomed tulip.
