A catering company known for their unique mobile live cooking stations and grilling meats by the kilo, the “grilling experts” have truly become mobile with their new online restaurant.
Accessible from the comfort of your office desk, ordering hearty meals from Golden Grills’ online menu makes it easy to think of other more pressing issues aside from battling for a seat during lunch rush, such as that contract you needed to approve by 2pm or taking the kids to piano class in the evening.
Fresh salads start from only Sh 250 and delicious snacks and light meals – chicken wings, meat balls, samosas, and even hot dogs – can be ordered throughout the day as long as the minimum amount of Sh 400 is met. Perfect for large office gatherings or parties or even dinner, staple grilled meats – pork, goat, poultry and beef – can still be ordered online per kilo. With over 16 mains including favourites like Beef Coconut with Chapati and Stir-fry Pork Cubes with Chinese Cabbage and Pasta, priced affordably, ordering-in may just be your new favourite thing.

The current site provides very limited descriptions of the dishes aside from its name and pricing. Foodies would probably love to read more about the delicious ingredients and health fanatics would most likely appreciate information on portion sizes and calorie intake.
From ordering, to delivery to our offices, to opening the packaging and revealing still steaming hot dishes, it took just under an hour. There were no hidden payment surprises like additional service or delivery fees. What you paid online through the diverse mobile money platforms was the final cost.
