The annual Trendz Kenya Fashion Festival (TKFF) will take place on July 14th Poolside at The Tribe Hotel in Nairobi, Kenya.

TKFF is a platform for Designers, Exhibitors/Retailers, Models from East Africa and the rest of the world to showcase their creativity, market their art and network with potential clientele.

Now into its third year, TKFF 2012 promises to be bigger and better with the evening’s gala event being showcased to the entire world, streamed live on Capital TV.

DESIGNER PROFILE: Ally Rehmtullah

Ally Rehmtullah is a Tanzanian fashion designer who was born and raised within Indian ethnicity. He is a very creative fashion designer who derives inspiration from the different colors in nature.

As a child he had always dreamt of becoming a fashion designer and when his dreams finally came true he took the Tanzanian fashion world by storm blending his creations with his young at heart nature.

He creates wearable garments that are in true sense a combination of cultures, styles and fabrics.

He also gets his inspiration from other colleagues who have been in the industry for much longer.
