This week inside Tunu’s closet…(2)

Tunu is a Kenyan fashionista extraordinaire. She knows a thing or all about the fashion world. She is so passionate about fashion such that she makes sure she stocks up her SHOP with the latest worldwide chic trends. She knows what’s IN when it’s still too hot and flying off the stores shelves and is never afraid to share. All this is evident from her closet which will  be featured on Capital Lifestyle every week as she gives you tips on how to rock some of these fashionable on trend pieces!

Pastel is basically a soft delicate hue or a pale color. You can find the pastel of any color as it is just an extremely lighter version of it.

This delicious (ice-cream) colors give glamor to girlish looks.

She loves the blues, greens, corals and yellows in pastel as they are so calm.

Tip: Pick one of the shades and blend it with whites or a different pastel colors for the color block trend.

She says “The colors are so exciting and the girly in me could not be more delighted to enjoy this happy mood trend 🙂 “

This new asymmetric trend is wassup!
The dress is neither a maxi nor a mini dress. It is a combination of both. Short at the front and long at the back which you can either call a “MIXI” as it has the hi-low/waterfall hemline. It has an amazingly unique design that can be adopted in different occasions.

This is an ideal look especially at this time of the year in Nairobi. It is coldest in the morning  and gets slightly warmer during the day. You can swap your stylish boots for some stylish ballet flats as it gets warmer just as Tunu has done.

The knee high socks made a debut on the classic styles. Now, its back in full force and better than ever!

In the cold season, pull a pair of knee high socks that will give you a stylish statement as well as keep you warm and cosy.
Rock them with boots and a boyfriend jacket for a sleek look!
It is not only for the school girls 🙂
