Snapp ties up sponsorship of Miss World Kenya

EABL today announced that they have tied up title sponsorship of the Miss World Kenya 2012 pageant. At a press conference Caroline Ndung’u, EABL-Kenya’s Marketing Director said, “We are excited to announce that SNAPP will be the title sponsor for the Miss World Kenya 2012 pageant. This is the beginning of a strong partnership with Ashleys Kenya, who are the Miss World Kenya the franchise holder in Kenya.”

The Miss World Kenya pageant is held every year as part of the Miss World competition. The lady crowned as Miss World Kenya 2012 will represent Kenya in the global contest that will be held in August in Macau China.

SNAPP was recently launched as a brand new addition to the EABL portfolio (Read about it HERE). It is a natural fruit-flavored alcoholic beverage targeted at the modern sophisticated woman. “We believe the synergy between SNAPP, and the aspirations of the ladies who join the Miss World Kenya contest are very strong. These women are confident, classy, socially and economically empowered and love to be seen as sophisticated and glamorous,” added Ms. Ndung’u.

Ashleys Kenya Director, Ms. Terry Mungai, who was also present at the press conference said, “We are proud to be associated with SNAPP. Miss World Kenya is a pageant that offers young ladies the opportunity to stand on the world stage and represent their country to vie for a chance to become the next Miss World. The mission for Miss World is “beauty with a purpose” that is something Miss World Kenya will live by.”

As title sponsor of Miss World Kenya 2012 , EABL through their brand SNAPP, have engaged Complete Africa, a leading production house in Kenya who also worked on Tusker All Stars, to produce a 7-part series that highlights the journey from the auditions to the grand finale for the ladies who will successfully make it through past the selection process.

“We will be at the auditions that kick off this Easter weekend in Mombasa and Kisumu, and the following week in Nairobi. We’ll be recording what happens during every stage of the competition and we are very excited about creating a world-class TV production for this year’s Miss World Kenya,” said Stevie Price, CEO of Complete Africa.
