Jolie’s engagement ring took one year to make!

Angelina Jolie’s engagement ring took a year to make because hubby-to-be Brad Pitt said he wanted it to be perfect.

Talk about a pair of lips! Brad proposed over the weekend and Jolie said yes. The diamond ring was designed by famous Beverly Hills jeweler Robert Procop, who knows exactly what the sultry actress would like after recently working with her on her just-released jewellery collection.

According to Brad’s manager Cynthia Pett-Dante, the actor and director “wanted every aspect of it to be perfect.”

“Robert was able to locate a diamond of the finest quality and cut it to an exact custom size and shape to suit Angelina’s hand,” read a statement.

After six years of co-habiting and bringing up babies, it was only right for them to take it to the next step.

No date and location has been announced as yet, but it’s expected to be a very private and non-extravagant affair.

Brad’s manager told People Magazine that the wedding seemed to mean ‘more and more to their kids’, and that’s why they had to do it.

The couple had initially said that they would never tie the knot until gay marriage was completely legalized in the US, but pressure from their six kids and Brad’s own excitement made them reconsider.

Their kids may want a nice big wedding cake but the rest of the world will be looking to see how fairytale the event will be.

I can’t wait to see the wedding pictures already! (Whoever buys them) And don’t you think Brad Jolie has a better ring to it than Angelina Pitt?

Anyway, Pitt told the AFP news agency in February, that this year he is taking a break to spend more time with his family and so it’s pretty obvious the wedding bells are not too far away.
