RnB superstar Beyonce has signed on to star in a movie called One Hit Wonders, alongside movie stars Cameron Diaz, Gwyneth Paltrow and Reese Witherspoon.
The movie musical will directed by Ryan Murphy, the creator of popular musical series Glee.
According to the BBC, no script has yet been written, but Murphy will enlist the help of Glee co-creators Brad Falchuk and Ian Brennan.
This will be Beyonce’s second musical, the first being the 2006 production Dreamgirls, where she acted alongside Jennifer Hudson, Eddie Murphy and Danny Glover.
One Hit Wonders is themed on a story about singers whose popularity faded after one hit song in the 1990s. They then decide to team up and try and reverse their fortunes.
It will be the first producing credit in Gwyneth Paltrow’s career.
