Whitney Houston’s last performance with Kelly Price

The late Whitney Houston’s last performance was on Thursday night where she shared a stage with Kelly Price in West Hollywood. Price was hosting an unplugged evening as a pre-Grammy event dubbed “For The Love of R&B”, when she called Whitney up on stage.

Price’s event was one of many pre-grammy bashes that dotted the days ahead of Sunday’s awards ceremony, which will pay tribute to the musical legend that was Whitney Houston, who was found dead in her hotel room on Saturday.

Guests who attended Price’s event called it ‘exceptionally beautiful’.

Other bashes included Estelle’s performance at the Key Club in Los Angeles, where she was joined by actresses Angela Bassett and Queen Latifah. Angela went up on stage while Latifah danced the entire night.

Estelle’s performance was part of her ongoing “All of Me” tour across the US.

Also on Thursday night Will I Am had a fundraiser event for his newly founded “I Am” charity foundation at the Palladium, while Belvedere hosted a pre-Grammy bash in West Hollywood that saw diva Mary J Blige give an intimate performance.

The music scene has however been stunned by Whitney’s death and the celebration of her life will be intertwined with the recognition of some of the world’s greatest musicians when the Grammy Awards kick off in a few hours.
