The current Nairobi weather can drive you nuts if you are like me and always crave a bit of freedom from the clothes you wear. Nowadays I look at my jeans and shove them aside because of late after 2.5 hours in jeans I feel so uncomfortable.I feel so uncomfortably hot and restricted.

Then in comes skirts and I see all day freedom. I think mini’s are ideal for this kind of weather no matter who stares at you, but let’s dwell on the pleated mini skirt today.

I browsed through Ashley Madekwe‘s (the model in the images) blog Ring My Bell and realized she loves her pleated mini skirts. She wears hers in different ways and pairs them with different tops and shoes. She either goes girlie chic, or plays it down a bit and she manages to pull off every look.
