So people are very different. That, we established a long time ago! No two people are identical…not even “identical” twins. So there are Different types of men and Different types of women but as the saying goes, one man’s meat is another man’s poison.
I knew that those two pieces I did would ultimately lead to this one. I was trying to drive home the point that there are different types of people with their different characters in life or in how they relate to others but there’s always someone who will be taken to someone else like bees are to flowers.
I have met these people with these traits, I carry some of the personality traits myself and when it comes to the men…I have dated a few with those said traits, so it wasn’t guess work. I also study people a lot! And I do ask lots of questions before I base my actions.
There are the Hitler’s, Donald Trump’s, Mandela’s… of this world. Meaning different personalities in relation to others. While some are very composed, calm, selfless and diplomatic there are those really messed up ones and they were/are not without spouses. They had/have wives. The main point I am trying to drive at is…There’s somebody for everybody! Whether you are a misogynist, judgmental, predictable, bossy, an arguer, a crier, a drama queen/king …there is somebody who can stomach and tolerate you just as you are.
Many a time I find my male friends brooding in some corner of some bar clutching on to a bottle of beer like it will provide some cheer. Often, they are upset and want to curse out at the whole world because the woman in their life has decided to cause drama or be impossible. And I always think to myself…instead of looking so blue, why not just go separate ways in search of happiness?… (Maybe by now you know that I’m such an escapist 🙂 ) I mean, you live with a woman you are not yet married to, you fight daily like wild animals and still you want to be with each other. You can’t do without each other and even after all those fights you want to go ahead and get married. Fine, every relationship has its own set of issues and drama but you find that some people love that drama. There are men who will complain about their women being worse than the devil himself and then proceed on to marry them. Which means they can tolerate each other issues and all.
No matter what you are, there will always be someone out there for you! I mean, there are 7 Billion of us in the world. There’s someone out there who is dreaming of his ghetto girl who will punch left , right and center anyone who dares cross them, and in another corner, some girl is dreaming of her arrogant man…her own arrogant man, one she can keep all to herself.
Personality traits are inborn and it is more than possible to have more than one trait labeled to you. I mean even a coin has two sides but even then, there’s always that prominent side of the coin (the heads). In the same way, we have that one personality trait (whether good or bad) that comes out very strongly. As the saying goes, too much of something is poisonous…so in such a case an adjustment should be in order.
If you are too much of a pessimist or a saddist…trying to balance out with a bit of positivity will take you a mile further into being more acceptable in society (PS: If you haven’t noticed, not so many people want to be associated with a negative person).
So both articles Different types of men and Different types of women were meant to trigger something in you and help you rate yourself. If you possess too much of a particular trait then you should try to balance it out. I know I’m a combination of so many traits I gave the women and I also try to balance out some of the negative strong ones that come out too strongly. You should try to be an all rounder.
I remember one day at some restaurant I sat at some distance watching this middle aged couple who looked like they were so much in love. But something was a bit odd, the guy was wearing dark shades indoors and the woman was cutting for him his steak and feeding him. Then I realized later that the man was blind. I later got a chance to talk to the woman in the ladies room (the inquisitive me always gets to work). The man lost his sight at age 5 and therefore has never seen his wife. On that evening they were celebrating their fifth marriage anniversary. The lady (who is quite a looker I must add) said she’s never been happier in her life and that the 5 years of married life presented her with the best years of her life. With all her looks (I’m sure she can bag herself any man she wants) she chose her blind husband to enjoy life with. What more to prove that there’s someone out there for everyone?
