Count down to the finals of the Miss World 2011 competition is on! In fact all that beauty pageant action and glamor is going down this Sunday the 6th at the Earls Court, London.
There have been several competitions going on to determine beauty winners in various categories and from the look of things our girl Susan Catherine Anyango is doing quite well.
The girls have been bonding while still competing against each other. So far there have been competitions with the main purpose being to shortlist the finalists (there are 121 girls competing for the crown).
These competitions are:
Miss World 2011 Top Model Semi-Finalists
Albania, Argentina, Australia, Barbados, Bolivia, China PR, England, France, India, Italy, Japan, Kazakhstan, Kenya, Korea, Martinique, Philippines, Sweden, Ukraine, Venezuela and Zimbabwe
Top 10 Beauty with a purpose finalists:
Ecuador, Ghana, India, Indonesia, Kenya, Philippines, Scotland, South Africa, Spain and Zimbabwe.
This is about the projects the beauty contestants are involved in Like the causes and charities they raise awareness in. It is compulsory for every beauty pageant contestant as every beautiful woman must have a purpose.
Last year, this prestigious award went to the former Miss World Kenya Natasha Metto because of her work with the anti-jiggers campaign. The reigning Miss Kenya is working hard towards her Cancer awareness campaign. We hope she brings the title back home where it belongs.
Beach Beauty qualifiers:
Bolivia, Brazil, England, Italy, Kazakhstan, Korea, New Zealand, Paraguay, Northern Ireland, Philippines, Puerto Rico, Russia, Serbia, Spain, St Barthelemy, Sweden, Ukraine, Venezuela and Zimbabwe!
