Collins, well said. It is also important for us to take a critical audit of Raila’s style of politics. Raila does not believe in a contest. In a contest you must have three possible outcomes in mind – a win, a draw or a loss. When you do not win accept it, congratulate your opponent and re-strategy for the next contest. The same education and spirit should be cascaded to the supporters. You cannot continue talking about how the contest was rigged for ever. You may want to remember the tragedy that befell our country following the acrimony triggered by the 2007/2008 PEV. It is an open secret that the co-principals played a pivotal role in this PEV. Raila was at it again after being trounced in 2013. The IEBC announced the results, he went to court and the Supreme Court gave the verdict. He showed no respect for the verdict. He continues to blame everybody and every institution that did not gave an opinion favourable to his wishes. This is not being democratic. Coming to the Homabay senate contest — who proposed his candidature? Were these elders from Homabay? Were these bona fide Homabay delegates? The fact that he is the ODM party leader does not mean that he imposes himself on the people of Homabay. He should allow democracy to take its course. Solution — Raila be humble enough to sit and dialogue with the Jubilee government without giving them conditions of engagement. You still have valuable ideas that this country needs. Secondly, accept that time has come for you to hand over the baton to a youthful & energetic leader and retire honourably. Have a humble end of year.

Tunisia a much better organised economy has just elected a well above octagenerian in office. Does that scare the Jubilee more or not? The digital rulers in Kenya should not punick but deliver in order to get a little more votes outside gema/kale axis to be sure of victory in 2017. Raila cannot and will not show respect for a botched election. Even you would not. It is rarely done in the home of your colonial master. Raila or Kalonzo for me has tried. My kudos.
But I am no fanatic or fan supporter non sequitor.
In my opinion, Raila and his current colleague should remain outside and plan thoroughly how to avert and deter “chicken” eaters.
Your unfairness of dialogue is evidently seen in a narrow prism. Raila and co called for the dialogue and Ruto due to fear from unknown source scattered it.Uhuru started then to redicle by talking about tee. Is this kenyan system difficult to follow and understand.
Infact the removed bad clauses in the Bill was inserted for fear of the CORD wave after 77 rally, After ICC burden then spree with Insecurity as an opportunity. THESE ARE MY OPINION- and pro bono / gratis.
