Must admit Murkomen has made some valid points!! Can Governor Ruto come and articulate his views in the same fashion??

True Senators should chair County development Boards…to check governors excesses. but a clear framework of engagement need to be determined to avoid Senator miss-using their positions….. is engagement framework provided in law?

Yes, if we allow senators to chair county development boards, then we should relinquish them from auditing themselves, they NOW cant play an oversight role as common sense demands now.Two the county development boards should encompass any development set or laid down by the Government including CDF. We should now have the County assembly denied any power of scrutinizing expenditures and bragging summoning people irrelevantly and unprofessionally just to humble them. The new oversight body should deal with the department managers (county ministers) to governors indiscriminately. In a way senators discovered they we isolated from county grass root relevance thus loosing touch with electorate who after 5 years would have swept them.
They had no significance apart form simply trumpeting for their party hierarchies or leaders as sycophant, appearing on media (radio/TV) and having to find space in their local development.
