August 13, 2011 – Debonairs Pizza Kenya has just crowned their 2011 ‘Bake Off’ Champion on Thursday, August 11th.
In conjunction with the popular online dining portal Eat Out Kenya, Debonairs Pizza Kenya launched a “Bake Off” competition where a few finalists were selected from nearly 2,300 recipe entries on Facebook and put their pizza creations to the test in front of a panel of four judges.
Each finalist used only Debonairs Pizza ingredients on their unique pizza recipes.
Managing Director of Debonairs Pizza Kenya, Azam Samanani and representatives from Eat Out Kenya, Kenya Buzz and Capital FM came to a consensus and awarded Shah Dilip the grand prize of pizza for a year.
Dilip’s surprising vegetarian recipe struck a chord with the judges and left their palettes with a memorable pizza experience that not even meatier recipes could overshadow.
