    Thank you  Mr. Kirubi for opening up this thought. I have always asked myself, after watching all the americans movies i have watched so far. all the documentations i have read and other source of information. Where did our patriotism go to? will we ever have the Jomo’s and Kimathi’s again in this country?
    Why on earth should a grown up make dummy seminars to pocket children monies?
    Why on earth should someone ‘eat’ monies meant for youts jobs creation while he earns several salaries and allowances?
    Where have our leaders mind gone to? none of them is being seen opening a new co and creating employement for youths and in return he makes profits… it’s either inflating tenders qoutes or project cost or eat some donnor funds?
    It is the high time, (since this is a lost generation we are having now. we of this generation, the little energy we shall be left with after battling drugs, inflation, joblessness, high cost of education, high bills) spend it on education our kids or what we would call the 4th generation into;
    1. be patriotic and putting the coutry 1st before self interest
    2. ending the culture of tribalism and considering ourself one nation
    3. appreciating, respecting and sharing with both those of our class and the less unfortunate( may be they are in that situation so that you could fulfil your responsibilities to God by helping them

      glad someone mentioned drugs. Few people realise how bad the problem has become over the last couple of years… 🙁

    interesting post. How do you think this will effect plans for an EAC union? I know that we wouldn’t see that for another 5-10 years at the earliest under ideal circumstances, but do you think retrogressing could scrap the idea altogether?
