April 19, 2011 – The Philomela choir is one of the most highly regarded choral groups in Finland. They will be teaming up with the Nairobi Chamber Chorus – a group of 25 refined singers based in Nairobi – for an evening concert at the Kenya National Museum – Nairobi. The concert program will feature lots of songs from the Finnish heritage together with Spirituals and Kenyan songs. The two choirs will together perform a series of Finnish and Kenyan songs Conducted by Marjukka Riihimäki (Philomela) and Ken Wakia (Nairobi Chamber Chorus)
